Hey, I'm Alex Rosa — a SoCal digital marketer by day, book writer by night, and full-time adventure chaser whenever vacation days allow.
I blame my parents for this love of travel (in the best way). They once uprooted our whole family and moved us to London when I was a pre-teen. We spent that time road tripping across Europe. We explored King Arthur’s castle in Cornwall, contemplated the stories surrounding Stonehenge, celebrated birthdays in the birthplace of Jane Austen, got pick-pocketed in Barcelona (and saved by an undercover cop — yes, really), floated through the canals of Venice by Gondola, stood in the actual Sherwood Forest, and so much more. Safe to say, the adventure bug bit me early.
The moment I knew I was hooked? Waking up on my 23rd birthday at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, 10 miles deep, after convincing 2 friends to backpack down with me. I made every rookie mistake in the book — but it was electric. I wanted more.
Since then I've road tripped across the U.S., danced to jazz from a balcony on Bourbon Street, eloped in Las Vegas (best decision ever 💍), and I'm always on the hunt for the campground with the most insane view.
I started this blog because I want to inspire you to explore more — and honestly, I'm looking for like-minded people willing to join me on a sunrise hike. So, hi. Let's be friends. 🌅
